Join the Georgia Council on Economic Education for a special K–12 teacher visit to Southern Belle Farm in McDonough on Wednesday, June 24. Teachers will explore agriculture, agritourism, entrepreneurship, and local economic connections through a hands-on farm experience, teacher activities, and remarks from Southern Belle Farm owner Jake Carter.

Teachers will have the opportunity to pick a quart of available farm goodies, hear directly from Jake about the business side of farming and the farm’s role in the local economy, enjoy lunch provided by GCEE, and participate in classroom-ready activities connecting agriculture and economics instruction. Each teacher will also receive a children’s book to support classroom connections.

Space is limited to 20 teachers.
